Intel Corporation
Intel Corporation is an American multinational semiconductor chip maker corporation headquartered in Santa Clara, California, United States. Intel is the world's largest and highest valued semiconductor chip maker, based on revenue. It is the inventor of the x86 series of microprocessors, the processors found in most personal computers. Intel Corporation, founded in Mountain View on July 18, 1968, is a portmanteau of Integrated Electronics. Intel also makes motherboard chipsets, network interface controllers and integrated circuits, flash memory, graphic chips, embedded processors and other devices related to communications and computing.


Kaiser Permanente
Kaiser Permanente is an integrated managed care consortium, based in Oakland, California, founded in 1945 by industrialist Henry J. Kaiser and physician Sidney Garfield. Kaiser Permanente is made up of three distinct groups of entities: the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and its regional operating subsidiaries; Kaiser Foundation Hospitals; and the autonomous regional Permanente Medical Groups. As of 2006, Kaiser Permanente operates in nine states and the District of Columbia, and is the largest managed care organization in the United States.


Mission College, Santa Clara
Mission College is a community college located in Santa Clara, California. It was founded in 1967. It is a part of the West Valley-Mission Community College District. The district serves the cities of Campbell, Los Gatos, Morgan Hill, Monte Sereno, Santa Clara and San Jose. Mission College's course offerings are broad-based and include computer technology, health occupation, and fire prevention courses.
The college is focused around a single large structure where many of the classes take place. The library, cafeteria, and bookstore are in a nearby building. It is located within Silicon Valley's "Golden Triangle" business district.
Santa Clara
Santa Clara, founded in 1777 and incorporated in 1852, is a city in Santa Clara County, California. Santa Clara is located in the center of Silicon Valley, and is home to the headquarters of Intel, Applied Materials, Sun Microsystems, NVIDIA, Agilent Technologies, and many other high-tech companies. It is home to both Mission College and Santa Clara University, the latter being the oldest institution of higher learning in the state of California.
